PINE GROVE ENJOYS THEIR "ALL YOU CAN READ DINER"! Mrs. Nance organized her annual family night event where children and their parents came to school, "ordered" books to read and enjoyed time together. Mr. Rapson joined in as "head chef". Sixth graders waited tables. What a fun time!

PATTERSON ROAD FIFTH GRADERS STUDY ABOUT EXPLORERS! Tracing the routes of early explorers is a fifth grade standard. Here's an example of a portrait and a map of the travels of Ferdinand Magellan by one of Mrs. Saleen's wonderful fifth graders.

SHAW SIXTH GRADERS DISPLAY THEIR CREATIVITY! Mr. Horton's students created masks by painting molds that they created on their own faces! They are beautiful!

7TH GRADE ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENT
For the 2012-2013 school year, and all future school years, all students entering, advancing or transferring into 7th grade will need proof of an adolescent whooping cough booster immunization (called "Tdap") for school in the fall. Click here for more information about this new law.
